Now, under the new leadership of co-owners Leddy Harris and Amy Dean, we are excited to continue that legacy, bringing fresh energy and an unwavering commitment to delivering the highest standard of early childhood education to families across Parker County.

Our dedicated team of educators is passionate about caring for and educating young children. Since the very beginning we have viewed our team and our students as family, and there is no greater joy for us than seeing our students succeed.
In fact, it’s not uncommon for us to be stopped around town by past students, often now with happy, growing families of their own!

Our Director
Hello! My name is Savanna King, and I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the new Director at the Weatherford Schoolhouse. I’ve dedicated nearly nine years to the field of early childhood education, five of those as a teacher and the past four as a Director. My passion for working with children has made this career both meaningful and rewarding.
I’m originally from Azle and graduated from Azle Christian School in 2016. My roots run deep in this community, and I’ve always felt a strong connection to it. My family and I moved to Weatherford three years ago, and we’ve truly come to love it here. My husband and I have four wonderful children who attend local schools and stay active through WYA sports programs.
As Director, my goal is to cultivate a nurturing, safe, and growth-focused environment for every child and family we serve. I’m honored to be a part of The Schoolhouse and am excited to watch our children—and our program—flourish. I can’t wait to meet you and your family!
